12 cups of beef broth
3/4 cup of pearl barley
3/4 cup of chopped onions
3/4 cup of diced turnips
3/4 cup of chopped carrots
3/4 cup of celery
Cooked ground beef
Fresh ground pepper and fresh chopped parsley
Bring the beef broth to a boil add the barley. Cover and cook for 30 minutes
Add the vegetables and cook slowly for another 30 minutes or until the vegetables are fork tender.
